Holistic Living

A healthy and happy life seems to be within reach. But so are problems.
If we invite problems, is it
fair to blame it all on fate ? Can we make small resolves that will
make some space for Buddhi, Lajja, Himmat and Tandurusti within us ?
Small resolves like :
“I will control my anger today. I will limit my possessions.
I will try to remove fear. I will not give in to temptations that lead
me to ill health”. Small vows or anuvrats are firm stepping stones to a
happier and healthier life.

All it takes to be able to live a holistic life to resist temptation,
taking
one step at a time. Health, happiness and peace will be within reach.

Why Women Lie!

One day, a seamstress was sewing while sitting close to a river And her
thimble fell into the river. When she cried out, the Lord appeared and
asked," Why are you crying?" The seamstress replied that her thimble had
fallen into the water and she needed the thimble to make her living. The
Lord went down into the water and reappeared with a golden thimble. " Is
this your thimble?" the Lord asked. The seamstress replied, "No." The Lord
again went down and came up with a silver thimble. "Is this your thimble?"
Again the seamstress replied, "No." The Lord went down again and came up
with a wooden thimble. "Is this your thimble?" the Lord asked. "The
seamstress replied, "Yes."

The Lord was pleased with the woman's honesty and gave her all the three
thimble to keep. And the seamstress went home happy. Some time later, the
seamstress was walking with her husband along the riverbank and her husband
fell into the river. When she cried out the Lord again appeared and asked
her, "Why are you crying?" "Oh, Lord, my husband has fallen into the water!"

The Lord went down into the water and came up with Mel Gibson. "Is this your
husband?" the Lord asked." Yes," cried the seamstress. The Lord was furious,
"You lied! That is an untruth!"

The seamstress replied, "Oh, forgive me, my Lord. It is a misunderstanding.
You see, if I had said 'no' to Mel Gibson, you would have come up with Tom
Cruise. Then if I said 'no' to him you would have come up with my husband.
Had I then said 'yes' you would have given me all three. Lord, I am a poor
woman and not able to take care of all three husbands, so THAT'S WHY I said
yes to Mel Gibson."


Moral of this story is:
Whenever a woman lies, it is for a good and honorable reason for the benefit
of others.

Life is like a piano: white keys 4 happiness & black keys 4 sorrow,
But
only when u go through the white and black keys,

How true it is!! White keys for happiness the +ves of life, the colourful life with lighter shades .. making one happy and gay.
Black keys for sorrow, -ves of life, the other colours of life , the darker shades... making one scarecrow, coward, sad.

Why is it people alwaz want colourful shades, why do they want to run away frm black keys when they knw life has its music with both the keys !!

Tagging aint a new concept to me.... was tagged before by mitu... and again i am :)... tagging is fun...but this time its by Shaurya & Vinal

going back in life.... well it was year 2000, important year for me (which i feel now, that time i never felt it to be important). Boards were nearing, there were a lot of health tensions & i was bed rest just before my so called BOARDS !!!
wasnt prepared for them but had to appear and let it go by. (let me tell u i wasnt a studious girl at all!! i repeat i wasnt not even 1%) my teachers & my parents were hammering my brains to study, but i was least bothered. but today i know how important 10th is. (Late realisation but cant help it)

Vacations were completely chilling out. Was out of home for a month and when i came back i was preparing myself for my D day (results) somehow cleared them and got okish result.

Got admission in college where students lukha kaate hai ;). earlier i wasnt so and so was selected the class CR (hai na kamaal) and guess what later i was caught twice by professors and insulted too for making people bunk lecs. had punished few guys and aftr aug i hadnt attended lecs at all. but yeah used to go to coll & sit on parafit with frnds n chill. masti ... freaking.... and eyein guys .... hehehe...
best day during tht year was frndships day which was celebrated in college.

but still was class ranker and my class was worst class in whole first year divisions. i didnt take french coz the guy whom i liked hadnt taken it (dumbest thing i did)

made loads of frnds... miss them a lot now ....

I got the hang of my studies. MISSION: studies!!! (how contrasting!!!!!) had put in best efforts for them and got distinction .....
broke off with my guy. broke another heart rather than my guy's. got 4 really guddie nice and shweet frnds.... my frnds forever...
had earned 6 grants (which was great for me but all was wasted :( )
masti continued....
